Sidewalk is finished.
The sidewalk is finished as far as all the rock and the mortar. I need to pressure wash the creek rock and get the excess mortar off. Need to seed grass around it and get gravel for the front part of the walkway to the driveway and we will be finished and ready to move on to landscaping.

We did our own sidewalk simalar to yours. We originally used sand base and gravel dust around the rocks rather than mortar because we did not put down a concrete footer underneath. I see that ya'll did not put in a footer either and was wondering how the sidewalk has held up thru a winter. The gravel dust is NOT doing what I expect and I am wanting to go be and vacum out the gravel dust and fill in with mortar but am worried about it cracking.
