Master Bath Shower Door

As you can see above we got a lot of work finished this Thanksgiving weekend. All the Base is down on the hard wood flooring. The master bath has the mirrors, lights, and shower door in. We are almost finished with all the back splash on the kitchen and the Double Oven is installed and working. Not much left now! Trim on the kitchen cabinets, carpet and trim after the carpet is installed and we will be in before Christmas!

Hard Wood Flooring is finished!

Hard Wood flooring is finished and we have started on all the trim on the first floor. Carpet will be laid December 5th and then we can move on to trim in those rooms also. Once we get the balconies finished we will apply for the final inspection and if we pass we can move in!

Hard Wood Flooring and Handrails

We have started on the hard wood flooring and the handrails this week. We should have it all complete by next week. The hard wood flooring is manufactured 1/2" X 5" hand scraped weathered wood for a rustic look. Also final inspection on the plumbing was passed also! So all we have is Final occupancy inspection.

We have water!

The plumber has finished up all the plumbing and we now have running water, & hot water! Started the hard wood flooring this weekend also. I will have pictures some time this week.

Grout, and counter tops

As you can see we have bee very busy with the kitchen and the master bathroom. All the grout is finished and the plumbing can finally be finished up this weekend. I have shown some pictures of the counter tops through the different steps that is takes to get the final product. When you lay out you acrylic tops you have to cut your tops to fit and then make 3 layers on the outer perimeter of the tops to make it look solid. Then you inlay a 1" plywood to make the entire top the same thickness as your out side edges. then you epoxy the sink. After it sets up you router your edges and the sink and you are ready to install your tops.

Counter Tops

No pictures to show today, should be able to by tomorrow. Digital camera went dead and I need new batteries. We almost have the shower finished and the counter tops are in and ready to be polished. We should be able to finish up the bar also. Should have pictures by tomorrow.

Shutters

Just a quick update. We added the shutters on the house. I will have more pictures later of all the shutters, It was just getting dark. The Grass is almost in too!
